We photograph families throughout the city with a calm, editorial approach that invites everyone to settle in. Working across 35mm and medium format changes the pace of a session, film asks us to slow down and observe first. The result is a collection of images that feel warm, poetic, and honest.

For your inspiration

Most sessions take place at home, outdoors, or somewhere already meaningful to your family. Based in Brooklyn, we photograph families throughout Manhattan, the Upper East Side and Brooklyn, with select sessions in Westchester and the Hudson Valley. We will help you choose a location that reflects your family and supports the mood you love.

Where do sessions take place?

Yes. We offer an eighteen month story package for families who want to document their story over time. This includes a thoughtful sequence of sessions that evolve with your family.

Do you offer year long or multi session packages?

Family sessions are designed for immediate family. If you would like to include extended relatives, we can discuss a custom option.

Can we include grandparents or extended family?

Your gallery will be delivered within four weeks. This includes careful development, scanning, and curation to ensure a cohesive final collection.

When will we receive our photos?

Most families book one to three months ahead. Weekend dates fill quickly, especially in the spring and fall. We recommend Mondays through Thursdays for outdoor sessions when parks and outdoor locations are quieter.

How far in advance should we book?

Newborn sessions take place at home and follow the rhythm of those first few weeks. We offer gentle direction around light and composition, and allow time for feeding, soothing, and breaks as needed.

Sessions are typically ninety minutes depending on your family’s rhythm and the chosen location.
