What makes your photography editorial?
Yes. While NYC is our home, we also document weddings across the Hudson Valley, Hamptons, Cape Cod, Nantucket, and destinations worldwide. Many of our couples live in New York but celebrate elsewhere, and we design our process to move seamlessly between locations.
Do you travel for weddings outside of New York City?
We see planners as collaborators. From the flow of the day to the smallest detail, our role is to complement their work while bringing our perspective as film photographers. We coordinate with planners, florists, and stylists to ensure the rhythm of the wedding allows space for natural, editorial photographs.
How do you work with planners and other vendors?
Film holds shadow and light with a particular depth, which means venues with texture and atmosphere often come alive in unique ways. Spaces like the Bowery Hotel and Hotel Chelsea offer layered, moody backdrops, while Palma and Bobo glow with warmth and intimacy. For natural light, the Brooklyn Botanic Garden and Prospect Park allow for luminous, organic photographs. Each space offers something distinct, and we tailor our approach to highlight that.
What venues in NYC photograph best on film?
Yes. Some of our favorite work has come from smaller celebrations; a Central Park elopement at sunrise, a dinner tucked into a private dining room in Tribeca, or a quiet ceremony in a Brooklyn brownstone. Intimate weddings allow for an attention to detail and a slower pace that is beautifully suited to film photography.
